Advanced Profile Control is an all in one solution for profile types, profile access control and profile layout customization. See the full list of features in the documentation. This software has the capability to change virtually any aspect how tabs are managed in CB.
Advanced Profile Control 1.1 has been in development for several months now. The new release adresses features and compatibility:
* Compatibility includes Joomla 1.5.X, Joomla 1.0.x, Mambo 4.6.2 and latest development and prodution versions of CB and AEC
* Functionality extended from tab to field-level
* More robust access control, includign compatibility with virtually any module or component using information from CB tabs or fields
* More customizable front end interface
* Tab positioning through drag and drop by users in the front end
* Dropping of IP locking, and changing from hostname to domain locking
* One universal installer package for all versions of PHP and both decoders
