Not sure what you guys are talking about specific, but I really can't recommend using Joomla 1.5. It's a factor 3 (at least) slower or more demanding on the server than 1.0.15 plus not all bugs are fixed yet.

Did you know that there were about 200 known bugs when they released 1.5 "Stable" - a stable product should not be called stable with 200 known bugs.

With that knowledge it's hard to take their release serious.

mosets recommends joomla 1.5 for mtree 2.0.6

Mosets Tree 2.0.6 contains the most number of bug fixes since the first release of Mosets Tree 2.0 plus a number of new enhancements.

Top of the list is the support for Joomla! 1.5's native SEF. Now you can have SEF URLs right out of the box without needing a third party SEF extension. Although we are maintaining the Beta status for Joomla! 1.5 support, we recommend all users to use Mosets Tree on Joomla! 1.5. We have been doing this ourself on Mosets Help and it has been great.

RSS now support category specific RSS for both new and updated feeds. Just add '&cat_id=X' (replace X with a category ID) to the end of your feed's URL and you will have a category specific feed.

We've also done some tweaks to improve Mosets Tree's performance particularly in it's front-page by reducing the number of SQL calls made. In some set ups, it reduces the SQL calls up to 40%.

As usual, this release contains hosts of bug fixes which will improve overall Mosets Tree stability.

У меня проблема с кодировкой в mosets в 1.5, все отображается кубиками руские слова в этом компоненте, кто это решил отпишите прошу Вас ?

Просто сохрани файл russian.php в кодировке utf-8 и все. Можно сделать это через обычный блокнот.

извиняюсь, если пишу не сюда. Кто нить сталкивался с такой проблемой:
установил SOBI2, потом через некоторое время moseets tree. Не сразу заметил, что в админке в списке компонентов отсутствует ссылка на SOBI2. Почему так? Юмора не пойму

Спасибо за 2.0.7 . на Joomla 1.5.4 летает норм. Все перевел убрал кракозяблики. Мучаюсь с поиском по контенту и тагами...
